Considered as one of the best pianists of his generation, Horia Maxim is a musician with a constant career, one of the most important references of Romanian artistic talent. The high level of his performances can be seen in his approach of a complex and vast repertoire both as soloist of the main Romanian orchestras (in more than 500 concerts) and also as a chamber music partner of important artists in recitals all over the world – Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain, Israel, Austria, Japan, Republic of Moldova and Romania.
Horia Maxim has been invited to perform in various international music festivals such as: George Enescu Festival (Bucharest, Romania), Europäische Wochen Festspiele (Passau, Germany) Nuova Consonanza (Rome, Italy), The Israel Festival (Jerusalem, Israel), Murten Classics Festival (Murten, Switzerland). Among his CD recordings, there are also several first auditions. Horia Maxim is also a founding member of Maxim Quartet and Zona Imaginarium.

In parallel with the soloist activity, Horia Maxim is enjoying a fruitful teaching career at the National University of Music Bucharest. He is also often invited to support important Romanian and European educational projects.
